What Is Crypto Mining
1 Block
Cryptocurrency, or symply "crypto," are payments made on a decentralized network. A large number of crypto transactions are grouped together into a "Block."
2 Verify
All transactions in the block are verified by a decentralized network. Anyone can join the network and help to verify transactions. All the verifiers on the network compete to solve a complex equation. The first verifier to solve the equation verifies the block and it is added as the last block in the "blockchain."
3 Reward
Verifying the block takes computing resources. As a reward for using resources to verify the block, the verifier is given an award in the form of a Bitcoin. This is similar to how miners use resources to mine gold or silver. This is why the term Mining is used.
